If you haven’t seen the official single cover for You and I, here it is. I personally believe this is probably Gaga’s most honest cover to date. Although she is perceived as this glamorous, fashion forward superstar, this cover shows who she actually is on the inside: a man. She is a man trapped in a woman’s body. Lady Gaga has managed to break the mold for what a woman or pop star in today’s society should be throughout her career. Because this is the single cover to You and I, I also suspect this could possibly be an ode to Luc Carl’s love for her. He doesn’t love her because she is Lady Gaga. He doesn’t love her because of the fame and fortune she may bring him. He loves her for who she is: a strong ambitious woman.
